Professional CCTV Installation

Protecting your property requires more than just purchasing quality security cameras. Professional CCTV installation ensures your surveillance system operates at peak performance, provides complete coverage, and delivers reliable security for years to come. Lock and Tech USA installs all types of CCTV systems including IP cameras, HD coaxial systems, and hybrid solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and government properties.

Improper installation leads to blind spots, poor image quality, and system failures that compromise your security investment. Our experienced technicians understand camera placement strategies, proper cabling techniques, and configuration requirements that maximize surveillance effectiveness. Professional installation eliminates guesswork and ensures your CCTV system protects what matters most from day one.

Camera Systems and Brands We Install

Lock and Tech USA installs and configures camera systems to match your property, your coverage goals, and your budget. We work with both modern IP systems and proven HD coaxial setups, and we support every major resolution on the market.

Our preferred manufacturers are Uniview and Hikvision, and we install any other system available on the market based on a discussion with you. We provide cameras in HD, 2K, 4K, and 8K, with the right resolution chosen for each location based on your needs. Camera technologies we install include day and night vision, infrared, motion detection, license plate recognition, facial recognition, and PTZ (pan, tilt, and zoom).

Site Assessment and System Design

Every successful CCTV installation begins with a thorough site assessment. Lock and Tech USA evaluates your property to identify all areas requiring surveillance coverage, potential vulnerabilities, and optimal camera locations. Our technicians analyze traffic patterns, lighting conditions, and entry points to create a customized camera placement strategy that eliminates blind spots.

Property Analysis and Coverage Planning

Property layout determines system complexity and equipment requirements. We map camera positions, plan cable routing paths, and identify mounting locations before installation begins. This planning prevents installation problems, ensures adequate coverage, and allows accurate project estimation including all necessary materials and labor.

Security Objectives and Camera Selection

Coverage objectives guide camera selection and placement decisions. We discuss your specific security concerns, whether monitoring entrances, parking areas, inventory storage, or entire perimeters. Understanding your priorities lets us design a system that addresses real threats rather than a generic installation that misses critical areas.

Equipment Recommendations

We recommend the right camera type based on your specific needs:

IP and Coaxial System Installation

Lock and Tech USA installs both modern IP camera systems and reliable HD coaxial CCTV solutions based on your requirements and existing infrastructure.

IP Camera Network Installation

IP camera systems provide superior image quality and advanced features through network connectivity. We install Power over Ethernet systems that deliver both power and data through a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable, simplifying installation while reducing cable clutter. Network infrastructure planning ensures reliable performance with proper bandwidth allocation and security segmentation.

HD Coaxial CCTV Setup

HD over coax systems deliver high-resolution video through traditional coaxial infrastructure. We install HD-TVI, HD-CVI, and AHD camera systems using proven BNC connection technology. Siamese cable installation carries both video and power to coaxial cameras, with professional termination ensuring optimal signal quality.

Recording System Configuration

We install and configure network video recorders for IP systems or digital video recorders for coaxial systems. Recording parameters, motion detection zones, and remote access are set up to match your surveillance requirements. Storage capacity is calculated based on camera count, resolution, and your desired retention period. We support local recording, cloud storage, and central station storage depending on how you want your footage retained.

Strategic Mounting and Cable Installation

Installing a security camera

Proper camera mounting and cable installation form the foundation of a reliable surveillance system.

Camera Placement and Mounting

Camera placement determines surveillance effectiveness more than any other factor. We position cameras to monitor all entry points including doors, windows, gates, and loading docks. Mounting height and angle optimization prevents tampering while maximizing coverage, and field of view calculations ensure complete coverage without blind spots.

Our installation approach includes:

Professional Cable Management

Professional cable installation ensures signal integrity and system longevity. We route cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits to protect them from damage while maintaining a clean professional appearance. Cable length limitations are carefully managed, with appropriate distances maintained for Ethernet PoE runs and coaxial installations.

Power Supply Installation

Reliable power delivery ensures continuous surveillance operation. We install appropriate power supplies, whether individual adapters, centralized multi-camera power boxes, or PoE switches. Surge protection safeguards equipment from electrical damage, and backup power systems maintain surveillance during electrical outages.

Network Setup and Remote Access

Tech-focused office surveillance setup

Modern CCTV systems require proper network configuration for optimal performance and remote monitoring.

Network Integration and Security

Network integration enables advanced CCTV features. We configure IP cameras for your network, assign appropriate IP addresses, and implement measures that prevent unauthorized access, ensuring reliable connectivity while protecting against cyber threats. Our network security measures include:

Remote Viewing Setup

Remote access lets you monitor your property from anywhere. We configure port forwarding and dynamic DNS where needed and set up free mobile app and PC access for real-time viewing from smartphones, tablets, and computers. Cloud connectivity provides additional monitoring options with off-site backup and simplified remote viewing.

Recording Optimization

Recording configuration maximizes storage efficiency and surveillance effectiveness. We program recording schedules, configure motion detection zones, and set up intelligent detection features. Storage management ensures adequate retention with automatic overwrite settings when capacity fills.

System Integration and Advanced Features

Lock and Tech USA integrates CCTV systems with other security platforms and implements advanced features that enhance protection.

Security System Integration

CCTV integration with access control creates a comprehensive security solution. We connect surveillance cameras to access control platforms and alarm systems, coordinating responses across them, and intercom integration enables visual verification of visitors before granting access.

Video Analytics Configuration

Advanced analytics turn cameras into intelligent security tools. We configure AI-powered features including people detection, facial recognition, license plate reading, and behavioral analysis. Perimeter protection analytics detect intrusions automatically, with virtual tripwires and boundary zones triggering alerts when crossed.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Comprehensive testing ensures proper system operation before project completion. We verify each camera produces clear images, test recording functionality, and confirm motion detection operates correctly. Day and night testing validates camera performance in all lighting conditions, including infrared night vision effectiveness.

Training, Support, and Maintenance

Lock and Tech USA makes sure you can operate your CCTV system effectively with hands-on training and ongoing support.

User Training and Documentation

We finish every installation with an on-site walkthrough and tutorial covering daily operations, viewing live cameras, reviewing recorded footage, and managing settings, and we help set up the mobile app during that walkthrough. Administrative training covers advanced functions for system managers, and documentation provides ongoing reference including system manuals and configuration settings.

Maintenance and Support

Preventive maintenance keeps CCTV systems operating reliably. We offer maintenance that includes scheduled lens cleaning and housing inspection, connection testing, firmware updates, and system health checks. Phone and email support is available during business hours. Our maintenance services include:

Our Installation Process

Lock and Tech USA follows a clear, transparent process so you always know what to expect, with the system fully demonstrated to you before any final payment is collected.

We schedule the installation and arrive during the scheduled date and time. On arrival, we confirm the contact and the scope of work, then carry out the installation. When the work is complete, we perform a final walkthrough with a tutorial on how to use the system and help set up the mobile app. Final payment is collected at that point. Pricing is straightforward — labor plus material for one total price. All installations follow federal, state, and city regulations.

Warranty, Service Area, and Payment

Lock and Tech USA backs new CCTV installations with a 90-day mechanical warranty and a 12-month electrical warranty, covering both parts and labor. We provide installation within 75 miles of Midtown Manhattan and support extended zones, multiple locations, and multi-site service for clients with several properties.

We accept cash, wire transfer, ACH, credit card, and check, as well as Zelle and Venmo, and we offer invoicing and business accounts for commercial clients. Hired this company to move our intercom system from inside to outside and also to install a new magnetic door lock on the outside glass door. This company did a great job and did a professional installation. They even helped us set up the AxTrax software for free to help manage access for our key-fob system. Recommended!!

It was nice to have a professional company install my intercom system. Much better than these "save a dollar" places that don't have a store and make a mess. But this place has smart, nice people who are professional and know what they're doing. I highly recommend Lock and Tech!
