Where it does not, additional temperature sensors placed in the rooms that matter let the system respond to those readings rather than to the hallway. Automatic Climate Control by Schedule and Occupancy

Automatic climate control means the setpoint changes without anyone touching it. Schedules handle the predictable part — cooler overnight, back up before anyone is awake, down again when the house empties on a weekday. Occupancy handles the rest: sensors that report an empty room let the system stop conditioning it, and the same detectors that trigger lighting can feed this, which is covered under lighting control. An away setting protects a property left empty for weeks and brings it back to temperature before you arrive rather than after. Because the logic sits on a controller in the house, none of it depends on a connection staying up.

What We Integrate

Thermostats and zone controllers, replaced or connected so they sit on the same app and the same scenes as the rest of the house. Temperature and humidity sensors in the rooms where readings matter, feeding the schedule rather than sitting on a display. Smart climate control from units you already own — existing connected thermostats can usually stay and come under one controller instead of one app each. Climate control automation through scenes: away, night, vacation, and return, each setting temperature alongside everything else in one action. Shades are part of this too, since closing them is often cheaper than cooling the room behind them, and that side is covered under motorized shades. To be plain about the boundary: we connect and program the controls for equipment that is already in place. We do not install, replace, repair, or service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, or ductwork.

Where We Install

We work in apartments and co-ops, condominiums, townhouses and brownstones, single-family houses with multiple zones, properties left empty for parts of the year, and renovations where sensor positions can be planned while the walls are open. We cover New York City and Brooklyn, along with Queens, the Bronx, Staten Island, and the surrounding areas within our service radius. After the work is finished we run the system with you on site and set up the mobile app before we leave.

Warranty, Service Area, and Payment

Lock and Tech USA backs new installations with a 90-day mechanical warranty and a 12-month electrical warranty, covering both parts and labor. We provide installation within 75 miles of Midtown Manhattan and support extended zones, multiple locations, and multi-site service for clients with several properties. Phone and email support is available during business hours.

We accept cash, wire transfer, ACH, credit card, and check, as well as Zelle and Venmo, and we offer invoicing and business accounts for commercial clients. Depending on the size of the job, payment is typically a partial deposit up front with the balance collected on completion. Before starting, we require a signed contract and a tax exemption form if applicable.
