NYC’s Trusted Security Camera Installer
From 4K IP cameras and PTZ systems to NVR storage, cloud backup, and free mobile remote access, our licensed technicians design and install video surveillance for any property size — with a full site assessment and clear, reliable coverage of every entry point.
Since 1998, we’ve been securing homes and businesses across NYC and New Jersey with professional security solutions you can trust. Our licensed technicians provide 24/7 emergency service, using only the latest technology and backed by comprehensive warranties on all installations.

Lock and Tech USA designs and installs video surveillance systems that protect your property with clear, reliable footage and convenient remote access. We install camera systems for residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and government properties, planning each system around your layout and demonstrating it to you before any final payment is collected.
Lock and Tech USA installs and configures camera systems matched to your property and budget, working with both IP and HD coaxial setups across all major resolutions. Our preferred manufacturers are Uniview and Hikvision, and we install any other system available on the market based on a discussion with you. Camera technologies we install include day and night vision, infrared, motion detection, license plate recognition, facial recognition, AI monitoring, and PTZ (pan, tilt, and zoom), with resolution selected per location to suit your coverage goals.
Lock and Tech USA follows a systematic approach to surveillance installation that ensures comprehensive coverage and reliable performance, with the scope confirmed with you directly before any work begins.
Our technicians begin with a thorough assessment of your property to identify vulnerable areas and optimal camera placement. This includes evaluating entry points, high-traffic areas, parking facilities, and perimeter boundaries. We analyze lighting conditions throughout the day and night, consider potential obstructions, and assess weather exposure for outdoor cameras, then create a customized plan that maximizes coverage while staying within your budget. Proper placement is critical so you can identify individuals and monitor activity effectively.
Quality installation is essential for reliable video and system longevity. We use professional-grade cabling appropriate for your system — Power over Ethernet (PoE), coaxial for analog, or wireless — with cabling concealed in walls or protected by weatherproof conduit for outdoor runs. We position cameras at strategic heights and angles that capture clear footage, monitor critical zones without blind spots, and resist tampering. For IP systems, we configure your network to handle video bandwidth, set up secure remote access, and integrate cameras with your existing security systems. On arrival we confirm the contact and scope of work, and we schedule the work to keep disruption to a minimum.
Before completing installation, we test every camera and function — verifying video quality in various lighting, testing motion detection, confirming recording, and validating remote access. We review footage with you to confirm camera angles and coverage, then provide hands-on training so you can view live footage, search recordings, receive mobile alerts, and manage settings, and we help set up the mobile app. We document camera locations, provide credentials, and leave detailed operating instructions. Final payment is collected at that point.

Lock and Tech USA installs a wide variety of camera types to meet different security requirements, each offering specific advantages.
Dome cameras feature a compact, vandal-resistant design that works well indoors and outdoors. The dome housing protects against tampering and weather while providing a wide field of view, and their discreet appearance suits retail, offices, and homes. Bullet cameras offer a cylindrical, weatherproof design ideal for outdoor surveillance, with a visible presence that deters intruders; they typically include infrared night vision for clear footage in darkness and withstand harsh weather, making them excellent for parking lots, perimeters, and driveways.
PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras provide dynamic coverage with motorized controls that allow remote adjustment of direction and zoom. They can pan horizontally, tilt vertically, and zoom in on distant subjects, making them ideal for large properties, warehouses, and parking structures that require flexible monitoring of extensive areas. We also install license plate recognition cameras that capture vehicle information at entry and exit points, and cameras with facial recognition and AI monitoring for proactive detection.
Modern cameras deliver high-definition resolution that captures fine detail essential for identification and evidence. We install cameras ranging from 2MP through 4K and higher, depending on your needs and budget, with higher resolution providing clearer facial recognition and the ability to digitally zoom into footage without losing detail. All installations include proper lens selection and positioning for optimal image quality, including wide dynamic range (WDR) for challenging backlit areas.

Effective surveillance requires reliable recording and storage that preserves footage for review and evidence. Lock and Tech USA offers multiple recording solutions tailored to your needs.
Network Video Recorders (NVR) work with IP cameras to store high-definition footage on local drives, supporting features like intelligent motion detection and analytics. We install NVR systems with capacity for your retention requirements, typically ranging from 7 days to 90 days or longer. For properties with existing analog infrastructure, Digital Video Recorders (DVR) provide an economical option that supports HD analog cameras, and we can upgrade DVR capacity or integrate with IP cameras for a hybrid system that protects your existing investment.
Cloud-based storage provides secure off-site backup that protects footage even if local equipment is stolen or damaged, and allows access from any internet-connected device. We can also connect to central station storage. Hybrid setups combine local and cloud storage for maximum reliability — critical footage stored locally for fast access and in the cloud for secure backup — providing redundancy against equipment failure while optimizing bandwidth.
Proper storage planning maintains adequate video history without running out of space. We calculate requirements based on camera count, resolution, frame rates, and desired retention, helping you balance video quality with storage cost. Our solutions include automatic overwrite of the oldest footage when drives reach capacity, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention.
Modern surveillance systems offer convenient remote access so you can monitor your property from anywhere. Lock and Tech USA configures secure remote viewing tailored to your needs.
We set up free mobile app and PC access so you can view live and recorded video from a smartphone, tablet, or computer, review footage, receive instant motion alerts, and control PTZ cameras remotely. Many cameras support two-way audio where equipped with a microphone and speaker. Browser-based access works across operating systems for large-screen viewing of multiple cameras with timeline scrubbing for quick review, and web access also enables remote technical support.
Intelligent systems notify you instantly when important events occur. We configure motion detection zones that trigger alerts only in specific areas, reducing false alarms, and analytics can detect events like people crossing boundaries, objects being removed, or vehicles entering restricted areas. Alerts can be sent via push notification, email, or SMS, and we configure user accounts with appropriate permission levels for owners, managers, and security personnel.
Remote access requires proper network security to prevent unauthorized viewing. We implement encryption, configure firewalls, use secure remote-access methods, and enable additional authentication for system access, with firmware updates and security patches to address vulnerabilities. Access logs help you review connections for security monitoring.
We design and install video surveillance across a range of properties, scaling each system to the size and layout of the space:
Pricing is straightforward — labor plus material for one total price. After assessing your property, we present the recommended system and the price before any work begins. All installations follow federal, state, and city regulations.
Lock and Tech USA backs new installations with a 90-day mechanical warranty and a 12-month electrical warranty, covering both parts and labor.
