Our process is designed to minimize disruption to your operations while delivering a modern, dependable access control solution for residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and government properties.
Lock and Tech USA installs fingerprint and facial recognition access control and configures each system around how you operate. We work with the full range of credentials and door hardware on the market, and we recommend the right platform for your property and budget.
Our preferred access control manufacturers are Keri Systems, Rosslare, Hartmann Controls, Paxton Access, and Brivo. For biometric readers specifically, we also install and support additional brands on request, including Suprema, ZKTeco, IDEMIA, Anviz, HID Global, and Bio-Key. If you already have a preferred platform, we work with it.
Our process begins with a comprehensive security assessment of your property. Our technicians evaluate entry points, traffic patterns, security vulnerabilities, and existing access control infrastructure. We discuss your specific security concerns and operational needs, considering the number of users, environmental conditions, integration requirements, and budget so we can recommend the most appropriate biometric technologies and configuration for your situation.
Based on our assessment, we design a customized biometric access control system tailored to your property. This includes selecting the appropriate biometric modality (fingerprint, facial recognition, or multi-modal authentication), determining optimal reader placement for security and user convenience, designing the network infrastructure to support the system, and planning integration with existing cameras, alarms, and building systems. We walk you through the design so you fully understand how the system will function before installation begins.
Our technicians perform all installation work according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. This includes mounting biometric readers at ergonomically optimal heights and positions, running necessary network cabling and power supplies, installing access control panels and server infrastructure, configuring system software and databases, and establishing secure network connections with proper encryption. We conceal and protect wiring, maintaining the appearance of your property while providing reliable long-term performance.
After physical installation, we conduct enrollment sessions where authorized users’ biometric credentials are captured and stored in the system database. This includes capturing high-quality fingerprint templates or facial images, creating user profiles with access permissions and schedules, testing biometric verification to ensure accurate recognition, and training users on proper reader interaction. We maintain strict security protocols during enrollment to protect sensitive biometric data.
Before completing installation, we conduct thorough testing to verify all functions operate correctly. This includes testing recognition accuracy across diverse lighting conditions, verifying door locking mechanisms engage and release properly, confirming access permissions work according to configured schedules, testing backup power and fail-secure/fail-safe operation, and validating integration with other security systems. We simulate various usage scenarios to ensure the system performs reliably under real-world conditions.

Fingerprint recognition is the most widely deployed biometric technology, offering an excellent balance of accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness. Lock and Tech USA installs and maintains advanced fingerprint readers that provide reliable authentication for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Modern fingerprint scanners we install use optical, capacitive, or ultrasonic sensors that capture high-resolution images of fingerprint ridge patterns. These systems can distinguish between live fingers and artificial replicas, providing anti-spoofing protection. Our fingerprint readers operate in under a second, allowing fast throughput even in high-traffic environments. They function reliably even with dirty or slightly damaged fingers, and can be configured to require multiple-finger verification for enhanced security in sensitive areas.
We install fingerprint systems for applications including office building access control, residential building entry, data center and server room security, healthcare facility restricted areas, and manufacturing floor access management. Fingerprint readers integrate with time and attendance systems, providing dual functionality for access control and employee time tracking. Our solutions support thousands of enrolled users and can be networked across multiple locations for centralized management.
Facial recognition provides contactless biometric authentication that delivers both security and convenience. Lock and Tech USA installs facial recognition cameras that grant access quickly while keeping entry fully touchless.
Our facial recognition systems use high-resolution cameras with AI algorithms that analyze facial features such as the distance between the eyes, nose shape, and jawline contours. These systems create unique facial templates that remain effective even with minor changes in appearance such as glasses, facial hair, or aging. The technology works in various lighting conditions including low light and can accommodate multiple face angles, though optimal performance comes when users face the camera directly.
Touchless operation eliminates the need for physical contact with the reader, offering hygiene benefits in healthcare facilities, food service environments, and shared spaces. Users simply approach the reader and access is granted within one to two seconds upon successful verification, without compromising security.
Lock and Tech USA offers current biometric capabilities so property owners can select the optimal solution for their needs.

Biometric access control provides maximum value when integrated with other security and building systems. Lock and Tech USA creates integrated solutions that enhance security while improving operational efficiency.
We integrate biometric readers with video surveillance to provide visual verification of access events. When someone uses a reader, the system can automatically capture footage of the event, creating an audit trail that combines biometric verification with visual documentation. This is particularly valuable for investigating incidents and maintaining records.
Biometric access control can be integrated with intrusion detection for intelligent arming and disarming. The system recognizes authorized users and adjusts alarm status based on their privileges and schedules. Unauthorized attempts trigger alarms, while authorized entries during approved times disarm the relevant zones, removing the need for separate alarm codes.
For commercial properties, we integrate biometric access control with building systems for intelligent environmental control and elevator access. Lighting, HVAC, and elevator access can adjust based on verified occupancy, and elevator integration can grant access to specific floors based on user permissions, enhancing security in multi-tenant buildings.
Biometric readers provide reliable time and attendance tracking by accurately verifying employee identity during clock-in and clock-out, eliminating buddy punching and time theft. Integration with payroll systems automates timekeeping and reduces administrative overhead, with detailed reports showing actual work hours, late arrivals, early departures, and overtime.
Biometric access control provides security capabilities that exceed traditional methods while protecting sensitive data. Lock and Tech USA implements strong security measures throughout the authentication process.
All installations follow applicable federal, state, and city regulations.
Biometric systems require regular maintenance to ensure continued reliability. Lock and Tech USA provides maintenance and responsive support to keep your system operating at peak efficiency.
Our preventive maintenance includes cleaning optical sensors and lenses to maintain recognition accuracy, firmware updates for security patches and feature enhancements, database optimization to maintain fast verification, hardware inspection to identify wear before failures occur, and environmental testing across seasonal changes. When issues arise, our technicians respond during business hours, typically arriving on site within 20 to 40 minutes in our service area, and carry replacement components for common failure points to enable on-site repairs during most service calls. Remote diagnostics let us identify and often resolve issues without an on-site visit. Phone and email support is available during business hours.
As biometric technology evolves and your needs change, Lock and Tech USA can upgrade and expand your system. We design with upgrade paths in mind, protecting your initial investment while allowing future enhancements.
Single-factor deployments can be upgraded to multi-modal systems, adding facial recognition to existing fingerprint readers for enhanced security while leveraging existing infrastructure. Mobile credential integration lets smartphones serve as an additional authentication factor, using push approvals or the phone’s own biometric sensors. AI enhancements improve recognition accuracy and adapt to user changes over time, detecting abnormal access patterns and optimizing performance. Cloud-based management enables remote administration from anywhere, automatic updates, centralized management of multiple locations, and scalable user capacity, while maintaining local authentication so the system keeps working during network outages.
Lock and Tech USA follows a clear, transparent process so you always know what to expect, with the system fully demonstrated to you before any final payment is collected.
We schedule the installation and arrive during the scheduled date and time. On arrival, we confirm the contact and the scope of work, then carry out the installation and enrollment.
